UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has wished students, teachers and families a successful start to the new academic year.
In a message posted on X, Sheikh Mohamed described children as the nation's "true wealth" and encouraged students to begin the year with optimism, ambition and determination.
He urged them to make the most of opportunities to gain knowledge and life skills, while highlighting the importance of cooperation between families and schools.
His Highness said the partnership can help develop a passion for lifelong learning, prepare students with skills for the future and reinforce their identity and values.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Education, Human Resources and Community Development Council, also marked the start of the academic year.
He encouraged students to embrace opportunities to learn and grow, and to use emerging technologies responsibly.
Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chair of the Council, said students should be given opportunities to discover their strengths, develop confidence and prepare for their futures.
She also highlighted the shared role of students, families, schools and the wider community in education.
