The UAE's Ministry of Defence announced it is continuing to intercept incoming missile and drone threats from Iran, with two updates posted on its official channels on Monday morning.
The first alert was posted on social media platform X at 7:18am, and the second at 9:56am.
The ministry reassured the public that the sounds heard are from the interceptions of the missiles and drones by the air defence system.
Earlier, The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) that air defence systems are responding to a missile threat.
The authority advised the community to remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.
