The UAE has strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Quneitra and Daraa in Syria.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) stressed the complete rejection of the violation of the sovereignty of Syria and the threat to its security and stability.
They also affirmed that the continued Israeli incursions into Syrian territory constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the 1974 disengagement agreement between Syria and Israel, which Israel is obligated to respect.
The Ministry confirmed the UAE’s firm position in supporting the stability of Syria and its sovereignty over all its territory, and its support for all efforts aimed at achieving their aspirations for security, peace and development.
MoFA has also called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the repeated attacks on Syrian territory, and to halt the escalation and anything that would increase tension in the region and threaten regional and international peace and security.
