The UAE has strongly condemned the ongoing attacks targeting the Consulate General of Kuwait in Iraq's Basra.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) stressed the UAE's categorical rejection of such attacks and emphasised the need to protect diplomatic premises, missions, and personnel.
It also called on Iraq to ensure the security of the facility by conducting a thorough investigation of the attacks, preventing their recurrence, and taking all legal measures to hold the perpetrators accountable.
