The UAE Ministry of Defence said it has successfully intercepted a new wave of Iranian missiles launched towards the country without any damage or injuries.
The Ministry said fragments of the intercepted missiles fell across several parts of Abu Dhabi, including Saadiyat Island, Khalifa City, Bani Yas, Mohammed bin Zayed City, and Al Falah, but didn't cause any injuries.
The authority affirmed its readiness to deal with any threats and stated that it is taking all necessary measures to firmly counter anything that aims to undermine the security and stability of the country.
It emphasized that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors is a top priority that cannot be compromised.
The ministry called the attacks a blatant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and confirmed its right to take all necessary measures to protect its territory and citizens.
The public has been urged to obtain information from official state sources and to avoid circulating rumours or unreliable information.
