UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, with a focus on economic and development cooperation.
The meeting took place during Al-Sharaa’s working visit to the UAE to attend the 24th Arab Media Summit.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing UAE-Syria relations and supporting their countries’ development priorities.
They highlighted the recent visit of a UAE economic delegation to Syria, which focused on strengthening cooperation, supporting economic recovery, and developing strategic projects.
The leaders also discussed key issues on the agenda of the Arab Media Summit, with Sheikh Mohamed thanking Al-Sharaa for taking part in the event.
They exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East, and stressed the importance of strengthening security and stability across the region.
