UAE to mark Eid Al Fitr on Thursday

The first day of Eid Al Fitr will be marked in the UAE on Thursday, May 13.

That's because the Shawwal crescent was not sighted on Tuesday.

Wednesday, May 12 will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, and the following day, the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
