All tourists arriving in the UAE will soon be gifted a complimentary mobile phone SIM card.
According to the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, their packages will include free data, international calling minutes and text messages.
Last month tourists arriving at Dubai International Airport started receiving free mobile cards upon arrival.
The service has now been extended across the UAE.
The free SIM cards will be given to tourists above the 18 when they get their passports stamped at the immigration counter.
They'll be valid as long as the visitor's visa in the UAE is valid.
The card will provide tourists with three-minute of talk time and 20 MB of mobile data.
