The head of the UAE’s UNESCO committee has called for a global alliance against terrorism. According to national news Agency WAM, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Rayes says governments and international organisations must mobilise their efforts and resources so the world can enjoy peace, security and stability. He added that the UAE condemns what he describes as the cowardly terrorist attacks that took place in Paris on November 13. His Excellency says only concerted and united efforts of all states are capable of defeating forces of evil.
