Major streets across Dubai are being deep cleaned as part of a massive sterilisation drive to tackle the spread of COVID-19.
At least 95 different roads and bylanes are being disinfected during the 11-day campaign, which started during the early hours of Saturday.
Teams from the municipality are using high-tech equipment and special vehicles to implement the initiative in partnership with Dubai Police, Civil Defence and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
By the end of March, nearly every street in the emirate would have been covered by the sanitation drive.
People are being advised not to gather at the sites where disinfection operations are being carried out.
