The World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) 2024 commenced in Abu Dhabi on Monday, under the theme “Work and Employment.”
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), the congress aims to address global challenges faced by People of Determination in the job market and promote awareness of their rights and capabilities in the development process.
Taking place until 25th September at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the event is being organised by the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination in partnership with RI Global and the International Social Security Association (ISSA).
The Congress, being held for the first time in the Middle East, is attracting over 500 participants from more than 70 countries. Among the attendees are leading experts, academics, and researchers specialising in rehabilitation and healthcare.
