The Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation signed an agreement with Aleria Technologies to develop AI applications to improve operational efficiency and improve the experience of beneficiaries inside and outside the UAE.
The MoU was signed by the Director-General of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, and the CEO of Aleria Technologies, Eric Leandre.
The collaboration aims to harness the power of artificial intelligence to address challenges in humanitarian work, prioritising field efforts in particular.
It is expected to automate all administrative tasks, identifying the most urgently needed geographic areas and prioritising aid delivery, reducing emergency response times, and providing urgent relief to affected countries and regions around the world.
AI technologies will be adopted in all phases of the Foundation's humanitarian aid delivery, from analysing information and data, processing requests, assessing needs according to priorities, providing more effective advice and support, managing inventory, planning events, and managing access to those in need in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
The Foundation emphasised that AI technologies will have a significant impact on improving the quality of life for individuals and communities in need by enhancing the efficiency of the charitable and humanitarian system, expanding the scope of aid delivery to those in need, and automating administrative tasks and logistical services. This will save time and resources for human resources, thus enabling work to be completed in record time and with greater accuracy.
