Badminton World No.1 Momota injured in crash in Malaysia

Badminton's world number one Kento Momota has suffered injuries following a car crash in Malaysia on Monday.

He has reportedly suffered a broken nose, fractured cheekbone and received stitches to his lips at the Putrajaya Hospital.

Momta and three other players were en-route to Putrajaya when the hired van they were in rammed into the rear of a truck.

The driver of the van has died in the collision.
