Australia beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the second One Day International (ODI) in Sharjah to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

Skipper Aaron Finch struck an unbeaten career-best 153, while fellow opener Usman Khawaja scored 88 as the pair put on a 209-run opening partnership.

Mohamed Rizwan (115) top scored for Pakistan with a maiden ODI century, while stand-in captain Shoaib Malik hit 60.

The win was Australia's fifth in a row after their 3-2 series victory in India earlier this month.

The third game of the five-match series will be played on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.
