Novak Djokovic will take part in next month's Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC) in Abu Dhabi.

The Serb, who has won the event four times, is set to join Rafael Nadal and Russia's Daniil Medvedev at the Zayed Sports City’s International Tennis Centre.

It means that three of the world’s top 10 male players are now confirmed for the 12th edition of the tournament, which takes place in the capital from December 19 to 21.

Five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova will also play at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship along with teen sensation Amanda Anisimova.
