Nurmagomedov dismisses McGregor's claims of 'broken foot'

Khabib Nurmagomedov has rubbished Conor McGregor’s claims that he only lost their tempestuous UFC bout last October because he was suffering from a broken foot.

McGregor made the claim last week, but, in an exclusive interview with Dubai Eye 103.8's Off Script, Nurmagomedov has accused his rival of lying, and said that if the Irishman wants a rematch, he’ll have to earn it.

Nurmagomedov has also promised to make up for lost time when he steps back into the Octagon against Dustin Poirier this weekend in Abu Dhabi.

The Russian hasn’t fought since his victory over McGregor at UFC 229 last October, the fallout from which saw Nurmagomedov banned for nine months after sparking a post-fight melee.

Speaking to Off Script, Nurmagomedov has promised a new and improved fighter.
