Scottie Scheffler detained by police at PGA Championship

World number one Scottie Scheffler has been detained by police near Valhalla Golf Club as the star tried to gain entry to the course for day two of the PGA Championship. In a seperate incident, play was suspended on Friday due to a fatal accident near the course.

In videos posted on social media platform X, Scheffler can be seen being taken away in handcuffs by cops. 

A policeman can be heard saying, "right now he is going to jail and there isn't anything you can do about it" to a reporter who was filming the incident. 

Earlier in the day authorities had responded to a collision which saw an adult male killed at the scene when he collided with a shuttle bus.
