Police in Abu Dhabi have busted a gang trying to smuggle and distribute drugs in the country.
They seized about 380 kg of hashish and 400,000 narcotic pills in a special operation called 'Across the Border.'
The authority also arrested three Asian men in connection with the illicit trade, which was being run from outside the UAE.
Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of the Anti-Narcotics division at Abu Dhabi Police said the gang members confessed to the crime and the case has been referred to the court.
