Abu Dhabi Police are urging residents to periodically inspect their vehicles especially during the summer season.
According to the capital's police force motorists should constantly check a car's engine temperature and oil levels.
Officials have also advised people to check their car battery, brakes, air-condition and tire pressure levels to avoid any accidents on the road.
They clarified that well-serviced vehicles help ensure the safety of the motorist and passengers.
