UAE schools are joining forces today in an initiative to make education and resources more accessible to students. As part of UAE Innovation Week, a series of webinars for students from across the UAE will be held, with the first to be hosted at the Sharjah Science Museum by an astrophysics expert. It will be attended by students from 105 schools. The webinar is a collaboration between the Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program and Sharjah Museums Department to enhance the education of science for students in the UAE. This is in line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s plans to land a space probe on Mars in 2021 to coincide with the 50th year anniversary of the country’s foundation.
