UAE opens children's play area in Dakar as a gift to Senegal

UAE officials attend the opening of a new play area in Senegal (WAM)

Children in the Senegal capital of Dakar now have a shiny new play area to enjoy, thanks to the UAE.

The UAE Embassy in Senegal opened the park, situated inside the African Renaissance Monument, in a ceremony that was attended by top officials.

Members of the Senegalese Government thanked the Emirates for its gift, which reflects the overall cooperation between the two nations.

The park will feature swings, seesaws a trampoline and other games for children up to the age of 12.
