UAE to open electronic visa centre in Lebanon

The UAE will open an electronic visa centre in Beirut, Lebanon, next month, allowing visa applicants to complete the process without leaving the country.

Omar Obaid Al Shamsi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the centre marks an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and ties between the UAE and Lebanon.

It will help streamline and speed up visa procedures in line with the regulations and requirements of the relevant authorities.

Al Shamsi added that the initiative reflects the UAE’s focus on innovative digital solutions that simplify procedures, improve service efficiency and provide a more seamless and flexible experience for users inside and outside the UAE.
