Dubai is Silicon Valley of Middle East: Sheikh Mohammed

WAM

Dubai has become the Silicon Valley of the Middle East.

That's according to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

He made the comments during a meeting with the founder of a Dubai-based ad-tech company that was sold for AED 3.3 billion.

Divyank Turakhia successfully sold Media.net to a Chinese consortium in 2016.

The company was founded in Dubai Internet City.
