Dubai International Airport will be closing its southern runway for maintenance, leaving DWC to absorb affected operations.

According to airport officials, despite the closure, the number of passenger flights from Dubai International Airport will only reduce by 32 per cent.

This is thanks to an optimised schedule the airport will operate on.

The changes will come into place for 45 days from April 16, 2019, to May 30, 2019.
