Emirates wants to double the number of flights to India – but cannot expand because the Indian government restricts international flights.

That's according to the airline's President Tim Clark, who said he will resume talks with Indian officials after the ongoing election.

Speaking at the Arabian Travel Market, he said the Emirates Airline will report a profit when it reveals its annual results next month, adding that its cargo business has performed well, despite the trade war between China and the US.
