Etihad Airways will begin daily services between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv from March 28, 2021.
It comes following the normalisation of the diplomatic ties between the UAE and Israel.
A month after the Abraham Accords was inked on September 15, Etihad became the first GCC carrier to operate a commercial passenger flight to and from Tel Aviv.
Mohammad Al Bulooki, Chief Operating Officer, Etihad Aviation Group, described it as a "historic moment".
"As an airline, (it) cements Etihad’s commitment to growing opportunities for trade and tourism not just between the two countries but also within the region and beyond," he added.
The year-round daily service will not only promote tourism but also provide greater choice and convenience for business and leisure travellers between the two countries.
