The UK is the latest nation to break ground on the construction of its pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

It will be located in the Opportunity District, covering a plot size of more than 3,400 square metres.

The ground-breaking ceremony was held in the presence of the UK’s International Trade Secretary Dr. Liam Fox.

He told ARN News that the pavilion will showcase his country as a global hub of innovation.

Dr. Liam added that Expo 2020 is the perfect platform for the UK to expand business links with the UAE.

He is also confident that it will provide further opportunities for British companies that have already won major contracts.
