His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has unveiled that the city has registered one of the world's highest hotel occupancy rates at 14.36 million international visitors in 2022.

Sheikh Hamdan, who also holds the post of Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, took to Twitter to highlight how Dubai has become the "global frontrunner in economic growth", with a 97 per cent growth recorded from 2021.

These figures indicate that the emirate is on its way to being one of the top 3 economic cities in the world, he added.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that “the exceptional success of the tourism sector in Dubai... reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the best city to live, work and visit".
