ENOC has announced it’s building a fuel pipeline that will link its storage terminal in Jebel Ali with Al Maktoum International Airport. Project Falcon, a 58km long jet fuel pipeline, is said to be worth $250 million (AED 98 million) and will have a storage capacity of 140,000 cubic metres. Capable of pumping fuel to Dubai International and Al Maktoum International, the pipeline will be able to meet 60% of the demand at both airports by 2050. Dubai expects to see 125 million passengers and more than five million tonnes of air freight in 2020.
