Souq.com becomes Amazon.ae

Souq.com now has a new name.

It's now Amazon.ae.

It comes two years after Amazon bought the Dubai-based e-commerce company for more than AED 2.1 billion.

Shoppers who type in the Souq.com URL are now automatically redirected to Amazon.ae.

Speaking to Dubai Eye 103.8's Business Breakfast, Ronaldo Mouchawar, CEO & Co-founder - Souq, Vice President - Amazon MENA, talks about what changes people can expect.

He talks about the reason behind dropping the name Souq.
