UAE is key market for construction industry

Despite the recent downturn in the real estate sector, construction is booming in the UAE with several projects underway at the moment. That’s according to experts at the Middle East’s largest construction event which got underway in Dubai today. Over 73,000 construction professionals from 140 countries are attending the Big 5 International Building and Construction Show over the next four days. Event Director, Josine Heijmans says there are positive signs for the region’s construction industry.
