Florida's Disney World to re-open following Hurricane Milton closure

Theme parks in Florida, including Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld will re-open on Friday after closing for Hurrican Milton.

The theme parks were set to offer special Halloween events, which no will not go ahead, the parks said in a statement, however the parks will re-open to the public. 

All the parks were closed due to Hurricane Milton on Wednesday and Thursday. 

Orlando International Airport, the busiest in Florida has mostly resumed its flights, after shutting down on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, animals from ZooTampa and the Florida Aquarium are due to re-open on Sunday. The 1,000 animals kept at the zoo will remain in their night houses.
