Global Village, the region’s leading family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, is now open for Season 27.

As guests gathered at Gate of the World ready for the brand new season, the Global Village ‘Wonder Rides’ - a unique fleet of some of the world’s most recognisable and iconic taxis – drew up at the gate.

A troupe of dancers then exploded out of the cars to perform a flash mob in front of the delighted crowds.

The performers moved into the park, and the countdown to the opening began.

Season 27’s first guests entered Global Village to the wild beat of ‘AAINJAA', the extraordinary percussion group from Bogotá, Colombia, as confetti and streamers rained down on them.

The first fireworks display of the season completed the night’s celebrations.

Season 27 welcomed a record number of guests to the 27 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures from around the world.

Featuring more than 3,500 shopping outlets, over 250 dining options, exciting entertainment, new attractions, and thrilling rides at Carnaval™, this season of Global Village has something in store for everyone.

Tickets are available online and on the Global Village app.
