36 killed in expressway bus crash in China

At least 36 people have been killed after a bus collided with a truck on an expressway in eastern China.

According to preliminary reports, the accident was caused by a flat tyre.

Police said the bus with 69 people on board veered into the opposite lane and crashed into the truck.

Of the 36 injured, nine are said to be in a critical condition.

Three people were riding in the truck, officials added.
