At least 26 people have been injured, including one critically, after a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck Japan’s northwestern region.
The quake hit Niigata Prefecture late Tuesday, causing landslides and power outages in some areas.
A tsunami warning was issued but lifted hours later.
The Japan Meteorological Agency warned of more quakes striking Yamagata and Niigata prefectures facing the Sea of Japan over the following week.
