Blast near Afghan military training centre kills at least six

At least six people have been killed and six more injured following a suicide bomb attack at a military training centre in the Afghan capital on Thursday.

According to officials, the attacker detonated his explosives after being prevented from entering the Marshal Fahim National Defence University.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

The attack comes as Taliban representatives met senior Afghan politicians in Moscow as part of efforts to reach a settlement to end the 18-year-long conflict.
