Two soldiers have been killed and one more injured in a car bomb attack in Iraq's western province of Anbar early Monday.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility but IS militants have carried out a string of attacks in the region since losing control in 2017.
The country's military said the car exploded as the soldiers were inspecting it on a road leading to Anbar's Qaim district.
"The search for the terrorist elements which committed this criminal action is ongoing," they said in a statement.
