Donald Trump dismisses North Korea's 'Christmas gift' threat

BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI / AFP

US President Donald Trump says he will deal with anything North Korea comes up with.

It’s after Pyongyang recently said it has a "Christmas gift" for America.

Talks between the two countries about North Korea’s nuclear ambitions have stalled over the last few months.

The North has threatened to take unspecified action if sanctions are not eased by the end of the year.

American military officials are expecting the regime to test a new long-range ballistic missile, capable of delivering a nuclear warhead.
