The FBI is investigating an apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course.
Sheriff Bradshaw reported that an "AK-47 style" rifle, a scope, two backpacks, and a GoPro camera were found near the suspect’s location.
During the incident, Trump was reportedly "one or two holes" away from where the shooter was seen, several hundred yards distant.
Secret Service agents engaged the suspect, but it does not appear he was hit by their gunfire. It is unclear if the suspect fired at Secret Service personnel.
