Foreign leaders and citizens bid farewell to Mugabe

Foreign leaders, supporters and ordinary citizens congregated at a national stadium on Saturday to bid farewell to Robert Mugabe.

A casket carrying his body was flown away on a military chopper after lying in state at the Rufaro stadium in Harare.

The man who ruled Zimbabwe for 37 years died at a hospital in Singapore last week.

He was 95 years old.

Mugabe will now be buried in a mausoleum at the National Heroes Acre shrine in Harare in a month.

This contradicts earlier reports that his body would be buried on Saturday.
