UNHCR warns of possible refugee influx into Uganda

The UN refugee agency in Uganda is preparing for a possible surge in refugee arrivals from the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.

UNHCR says the deteriorating security situation in eastern DRC and the Equatorial region of South Sudan is pushing more refugees across the border.
