White House press secretary resigns

Sarah Sanders will soon no longer be the White House Press Secretary.

US President Donald Trump announced on Twitter that the spokesperson is returning to her home state of Arkansas at the end of June.

Trump hailed her as a "warrior."

Meanwhile Sanders said that serving the role of  White House Press Secretary had been "the honour of a lifetime."
