The UAE Attorney-General says anyone who violates authority restrictions to contain the spread of COVID-19 will be punished under the law.
Based on the new framework issued on Wednesday, anyone entering the UAE from abroad will be required to place themselves under home-quarantine for 14 days.
State Attorney General Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi asserted that anyone caught violating this new rule will face legal implications.
UAE citizens and residents are being urged to abide by the rules implemented to contain the spread of COVID-19.
