At least 2 million people from more than 80 countries are set to benefit from the Emirates Red Crescent’s (ERC) Ramadan and Eid charity campaigns this year.
The projects, worth over AED 40 million will include food packages, Iftar kits as well as Eid clothing.
The ERC’s initiative will also reach out to low-income families in the UAE, while Iftars would be held daily at around 160 locations across the country.
