The UAE confirmed 2,223 new cases of COVID-19 from 293,212 tests on Friday.
Another 2,177 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 601,308.
Seven patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,782.
A total of 622,532 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,442 are currently active.
