The UAE Coast Guard has rescued seven Indian nationals after two pleasure boats capsized near Shark Island in Khor Fakkan.
The authority dispatched specialised teams to the site after being alerted to the incident.
A woman and her child who sustained injuries in the accident were transported to the nearest hospital.
The Coast Guard has advised the public to follow the safety guidelines and to exercise caution during unstable weather conditions.
