Spectacular fireworks and two open-air concerts will be livestreamed from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain on the occasion of the UAE's 49th UAE National Day celebrations.
In a post on their official social media handle, the Abu Dhabi media office said the events will be "spectator-free but broadcast on TV and streamed online", keeping the COVID-19 safety protocols in mind.
Fireworks will begin on Reem Island and Al Wathba at 9:00 pm on December 2, followed by the Corniche at 9:25 pm.
It will be broadcast live on Abu Dhabi and Emarat TV, as well as the UAE_BARQ official Instagram.
In Al Ain, fireworks displays will take place at Al Ain Municipality building and Jebel Hafeet at 8:00 pm on December 1 to 3.
Two open-air concerts have also been planned at the Jahili Fort on December 2 and 3. This will be streamed live on Abu Dhabi Culture’s social channels.
