A woman has been arrested in Abu Dhabi after videos of her torturing her child went viral on social media.
In an update on Twitter, the officials said a family dispute may have led to the mother's unpleasant behaviour.

The authorities have further explained that there is no leniency for anyone in the UAE who attempts to harm children.
The case has been referred to the public prosecution.
