The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department provided AED 34 million in financial aid during 2024 to support insolvent individuals involved in civil, commercial and rental cases, as well as prison inmates.

The aid helped cover outstanding debts in civil and commercial disputes, rental arrears, and unpaid amounts for inmates, facilitating their release.

In addition, travel tickets were provided to those unable to return home after serving their sentences.

This initiative was made possible through collaboration with various partners and charitable institutions, all working together under comprehensive solidarity programmes aimed at promoting societal stability.
