Abu Dhabi has once again been ranked the world's safest city, according to the Safety Index released by the global data website Numbeo.
The UAE capital tops the list of 331 cities with an overall safety score of 86.8.
Ajman is ranked fourth with a score of 83.5, while Dubai (83.4) is fifth on the list and Ras Al Khaimah (83.3) is in the sixth position.
Taipei is in the second spot and is followed by Doha in third place. Muscat, The Hague, Bern and Munich round out the top 10 spots.
Abu Dhabi Police said that the top ranking reflects the emirate’s "global leadership in implementing best security standards and enhancing quality of life for citizens, residents and visitors."
The crowd-sourced list ranks cities based on users' feedback on questions related to safety and crime levels.
